Beth Grant is one of the best working character actresses today. She is a master at comedy, anger, sadness, and fear. Some of her works include Donnie Darko, Six Feet Under, Sordid Lives, Child’s Play 2, The Mindy Project, and many other roles. This image is from a recent short film called The Bridge Partner (2015), a fantastic demonstration of her acting skills.
Legendary horror actress Meg Foster in They Live. Her eyes were both a blessing and a curse in her casting options, but she is iconic in every role she’s in! We don’t deserve such a powerhouse actress.

Horror royalty, Barbara has been killing it in the industry since the 80s! I love that she can combine horror and humor to create very moving roles. I’m looking forward to what she brings us next.

Between bubblegum pops and trips to the record store at the mall, she's got all the demons/ghosts/presidential candidates on the line. Zarabeth played by the delightful Kathleen Wilhoite steals the show as a bubblegum popping, wisecracking psychic in Kevin Tenney's 1986 Witchboard
The amazing and spooktacular Elvira, Mistress of the Dark! Played the talented and creative dynamo Cassandra Peterson.

Oh Judy, a winner with clear communication skills, good hair, and a certain city charm. She tried her best to push the other campers to succeed, but unfortunately they can’t all be winners. Played by the charismatic Karen Fields, who is still high-kicking her way into our hearts today.

Vivia, played by Sherry Willis-Burch, is one of my favorite characters in a slasher film. She's funny, smart, adventurous, and an absolute delight.... plus she chops a good head.

National Lampoon or National Treasure! Delores is the strongest argument for satanism besides cats. Played by the perfect Zane Buzby.
Not only does she know where all the best shops are, she's a beautiful diamond in a sea of brown suits.
Wilma forever.

Barb from Stranger Things played by the talented Shannon Purser for my newest addition to my Horror Icon series. Barb is the only character I’ve drawn from a recent film or show, but she encapsulates everything I look for. She’s stunning, unforgettable, a little awkward, and literally steals the show with very (too) limited screen time.

Lucinda Dickey does it all as an aerobic teaching, patrick nagel decorating, arcade game owning, phone company working, ninja assassin. A dream career of cheerleader camp, breakin, grease 2, and ninja 3, she is absolutely perfect for my horror icon series.

One of my favorite childhood actresses Deborah Foreman in one of my favorite childhood movies April Fools Day (1986) as the murderous ? Twins ? Muffy and Buffy!

So I killed. So I maimed. So I destroyed one innocent life after another. Aren't I a human being? Don't I yearn and ache...and shop? Don't I deserve love...and jewelry?
The amazing Joan Cusack as Debbie, a perfect angel.

Nicoletta Elmi as the mysterious Ingrid, the usherette, in one of my all time favorites Demons (1985). Her character is so striking, and no matter how many times I watch the movie, I have to ask myself, "is she? isn't she? what the heck is her story?" Out of context though, she may look like she is dressed as a keebler elf.

The talented Jennifer Rubin as Allie Holton, in the smash hit (at least on the USA network) Drop Dead Gorgeous, struggling to survive as she navigates the dangerous life of a supermodel with a kitten!

Lisa brings both a quite strength and a nice amount of smart-ass wit to her role as Alice the dream warrior in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5.

Everything about her is perfect in every way. Michelle Pfeiffer portrays the most iconic character and performance in the batman universe. Unfortunately today, her fight is more relevant than ever.

Linnea is a legend in her own right. One of the hardest working actresses, she has put out a movie at least once a year since she started making movies in the 70s. Kind and talented, I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Iconic Meg Foster again in a proto-black mirror episode of the Twilight Zone called Dreams for Sale. She works hard and dreams even harder. And just maybe she finds a little happiness for herself.

Tom McBride, an openly gay actor who passed away from AIDS complications in 1995, as Mark, the wheelchair bound babe from Friday the 13th part 2 (1981). He arguably has the most iconic and unrelenting death in the series. Gone too soon.

Thom Matthews as the most adult version of Tommy Jarvis, a life long nemesis of Jason Voorhees. Thom has many great roles in horror including Return of the Living Dead 1 and 2.

This birthday boy thought he had a surprise party to look forward to, instead he got a surprise tent spike to the spine.
William Butler is one of 5 out actors that starred in Friday the 13th Part 7; The New Blood. He has appeared in many horror films including Night of the Living Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3. He’s also a talented director.

Phyllis Smith is a god damn angel and her role in the OA is both brave and endearing. This drawing is the exact moment she turns around to save her friends.

Two of horror’s indie darlings. Both talented actors and friends, they have been in just about everything.
